Step-over frames (traditional diamond shape) are more rigid and slightly lighter, making them great for off-road riding and taller riders. Step-through frames have a low or missing top tube, making them much easier to mount and dismount — perfect for city commuting, riders with limited mobility, or anyone who prefers riding in regular clothes. Both are equally durable. We recommend step-through for most casual and commuter riders.

How long does shipping take and how is the bike delivered?

Yes. All e-bikes sold on our site have a water resistance rating of at least IP54, meaning they can handle rain puddles and light to moderate rain. However, you should avoid submerging the bike, power-washing it, or leaving it in heavy rain for hours. After riding in wet conditions, wipe down the display and battery contacts. Never charge a wet battery.

Do you offer financing or payment plans?

Most orders ship within 1–2 business days. Delivery typically takes 3–7 business days within the continental US. The bike arrives in a large cardboard box (about 85% pre-assembled) via FedEx, UPS, or a freight carrier depending on your location. The driver will leave the box at your door — no signature required unless you request one. Tracking information is emailed as soon as your bike ships.

What maintenance does an e-bike need compared to a regular bike?

E-bikes require everything a regular bike needs — chain lubrication, brake adjustments, tire pressure checks, and gear tuning. Additionally, you should store the battery indoors at 50–80% charge during off-seasons, check motor mounting bolts every few months, and avoid letting the battery drain completely to zero. Brake pads wear faster on e-bikes due to higher speeds and weight, so expect to replace them every 500–1,000 miles instead of 1,500+ miles.
