What's Covered & For How Long

Warranty Requirements

To qualify for warranty service, all of the following conditions must be met:

• 1 Proof of purchase — original receipt or order confirmation showing the purchase date and product name. For online purchases, your order ID and account details will be used for verification.
• 2 Product registration — you must register your e-bike on our website immediately after purchase. Unregistered bikes may experience delays in after-sale processing.
• 3 Annual check-up — your e-bike must be inspected by an authorised Silver Lake Cycles specialist or dealer after the first year of use to maintain continued warranty coverage.
• 4 Original purchaser only — this warranty is non-transferable and applies exclusively to the original retail purchaser. It does not extend to subsequent owners.
• 5 Dealer-assisted registration — if you purchased your e-bike from an authorised dealer, please ensure the dealer completes the registration process on your behalf at the time of sale.

What Is Not Covered

• Normal wear and tear — parts that degrade through ordinary use and are not the result of a manufacturing defect. These include, but are not limited to:
  • Brake Pads
  • Rotors
  • Spokes
  • Handlebar Grips
  • Shifters
  • Brake Cables
  • Casings
  • Tyres & Tubes
  • Chains
  • Chain Rings
  • Cassettes
  • Transmission Gears
  • Corrosion from elements
  • Surface finish deterioration
• Labour charges for part replacement or changeover during any repair.
• Accident, abuse, or misuse — including stunt riding, racing, or use inconsistent with the bike's intended purpose; improper storage; or abnormal exposure to liquids, chemicals, abrasives, sand, or dirt.
• Cosmetic damage — scratches, dents, or surface marks not caused by a manufacturing defect.
• Removed or altered serial number — any product with a defaced, damaged, or missing serial number or barcode.
• Use of non-approved accessories — defects or damage caused by accessories, components, or peripheral equipment not supplied or approved by Silver Lake Cycles.
• Improper assembly or maintenance — damage resulting from assembly, installation, service, or repair that deviates from our official Assembly Instructions and Product Manual.
• External causes — damage from collision, fire, flooding, lightning, earthquake, theft, or weather exposure.
• Incompatible battery charger — use of a charger that is not intended or approved for your Silver Lake Cycles battery.
• Tampered battery seals — any battery whose seals show evidence of having been broken or tampered with.
• Battery used in other equipment — using the bike's battery in any device other than the e-bike for which it was specified.
• Free gifts and bundled accessories — items such as racks, fenders, or other accessories included with your purchase are not covered under this warranty.

Shipping Damage

All deliveries require a recipient to be present and sign for the package. Any visible damage to the outer packaging should be noted before signing. You have the right to refuse delivery if the package shows signs of significant damage.

10-Year Frame Limited Warranty

Silver Lake Cycles e-bike frames are covered by a 10-year replacement or repair warranty for the original purchaser against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.

Frame issues excluded from this warranty include:

• Corrosion from exposure to the elements
• Paint fade, scratches, or impact marks
• Impact or collision damage
• Non-reversible modifications such as drilling or welding
• Chain guard mounts attached to the frame
• Any suspension components

Post-Warranty Support

Silver Lake Cycles is committed to supporting your ride long after the warranty period ends. As a manufacturer courtesy, we may continue to provide replacement parts at no charge (excluding shipping costs) even after your warranty has expired.
